The notable difference between guitar and ukulele is that the ukulele strings are tuned five semitones higher compared to guitar in standard tuning. It is also common to have the G-string on an ukulele tuned one additional octave up, although that does not affect any chord or scale patterns since it still is a G-note. To further mimic the sound of an ukulele using a regular 6-string guitar is simply to put a capo at fifth fret. Please note, do not try tuning the G-string on your guitar a full octave up unless also changing the string gauge, otherwise you will probably break your string.
